"For some years now, and with almost obsessive intensity, Lucien Samaha has been archiving his approximately 300’000 photos. These include pictures of social events, images of friends, snap shots of New York night life etc. Intended to organize the growing number of photos the archive eventually generated its own dynamics and required more images. The result is a constantly changing temporal sculpture of pictures of Samaha's personal being – full of emotions and memories – both in shape as in content."
